Apple is considering whether to postpone the debut of its highly anticipated VR headset until late 2022.

While Apple has never publicly confirmed the progress of VR's work, investors and analysts are increasingly convinced that the device will be a major new product category for the tech giant. A large team called the "Technical Development Group" is reportedly working on this headset.

Apple previously planned to launch the product at its developer conference, but may delay the release due to overheating, camera-sensing cameras and software issues. Latency could reduce enthusiasm for the virtual world brought by AR/VR and even affect Apple's market capitalization.

In addition, Apple's VR headset is expected to provide a virtual reality experience with a high-resolution screen, and some reports say that it may cost more than $1,000, much higher than the VR headsets currently on the market, such as the $299 Meta Quest.
