Among other brands, the BMW M brand increased by 38.9% year-on-year, while the MINI brand delivered 30,546 units in the full year, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year. BMW motorcycles delivered 14,309 units in the full year, up 21.4% year-on-year.

In the field of new energy vehicles, BMW sold more than 48,000 units in China, an increase of 69.6% year-on-year. Among them, the pure electric BMW iX3 sold more than 21,000 units in the first full sales year. Since 2014, the BMW Group has delivered nearly 140,000 new energy vehicles in China. In the Chinese market, BMW will have 7 new energy products sold this year: including 5 pure electric models, innovative BMW iX, innovative BMW i4, BMW iX3, pure electric BMW 3 series, a pure electric flagship, and 2 plug-in hybrid models.

By the end of 2021, BMW will have 360,000 public charging piles, and BMW's exclusive parking and charging integration service has also covered 9 airports in 5 major cities across the country and more than 10 popular business districts across the country. At the same time, the My BMW App has been launched for charging related services.

Increase low-carbon investment, and 26 new products will be launched in 2022

Globally, the BMW Group delivered a total of 2,521,525 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles in 2021, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year. Among them, the bmw brand's global sales reached an all-time high of 2,213,795 units, an increase of 9.1% year-on-year, ahead of the global luxury car brands. In addition, sales of pure electric vehicles doubled to 103,855 units, an increase of 133.2% year-on-year. It is reported that by 2030, the BMW Group plans to reduce the carbon emissions of the average bicycle life cycle by 40% compared with 2019, reducing emissions by at least 200 million tons.

It is reported that in 2022, the BMW Group will continue to make efforts in new products, brand experience and customer satisfaction, planning to launch 26 new products, covering BMW main brands, BMW i and BMW M, MINI and motorcycle segments. By 2025, the BMW Group's electrification strategy will introduce "next-generation" models with completely redesigned IT and software architectures, a new generation of high-performance electric drive systems and batteries, and a large number of more low-carbon and environmentally friendly reusable materials based on the concept of circular economy. The BMW Group is expected to deliver around 10 million pure electric vehicles worldwide by 2030. Around 2030, MINI and rolls-Royce brands will also move towards full electrification.
