Although his family objected, he still sold his family's property, including more than 3,000 acres of land, and then founded a school, called Aurora University, as long as there is a desire for knowledge, talented people, Ma Xiangbo does not charge tuition, and personally imparts knowledge to students, hoping that these students can awaken, although his ideas are good, but after all, it is a school founded in the name of the church, the ideas taught by the church are not good for students in Ma Xiangbo's view, which can not help China's development, so it is contradictory with the church.

Later, with the help of many people, he founded Fudan University, and his spirit of pursuing education to change the thinking of the Chinese people infected many people, but the strength of one person is limited, and he hopes to change the status quo a little, even if he sees a little improvement, but after the Overthrow of the Qing Government, the Republic of China is still so corrupt and feudal, and the Chinese people still live a hard life.
