On November 10, 2021, Ms. Lin, who was only 29 weeks pregnant, gave birth to Kang Kang at Zhuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital. At that time, Kang Kang's weight was only 900 grams, far below the normal range of 2500 to 4000 grams, belonging to ultra-low weight, it looked only the size of a palm, so it was called "slap baby".

Due to premature birth, Kang Kang was born with immature organ development, breathing difficulties shortly after birth, and congenital stunted intestinal stunted, and could only rely on infusions to maintain nutrition.

After 62 days of careful care by medical staff, Kang Kang's weight gradually increased to 2100 grams, and all vital signs gradually returned to normal. On January 10, Kang Kang "successfully broke through the pass" and was successfully discharged from the hospital.

Li Xinfeng, head nurse of the neonatal department, introduced that in order to continue the care of Kang Kang, the nurse taught Kang Kang's mother Ms. Lin one-on-one to breastfeed, bathe, do wound care, and the focus that needs to continue to observe after returning home, hoping that Kang Kang can grow up healthily.
