Due to her ex-husband's long-term domestic violence, the woman poisoned and buried his body, and two years later, the mother-in-law dug up the body in the wasteland

On January 12, Zhengguan News reporter learned from the China Judgment Document Network that due to her ex-husband Tang Mou's long-term domestic violence and addiction to gambling, a woman in Hunan, Tang Moujia, poisoned and killed Tang Mou. Tang Moujia was criminally detained by the Jiang** Yao Autonomous County Public Security Bureau on March 15, 2020, on suspicion of committing intentional homicide, arrested on March 27 of the same year with the approval of the Jiang** Yao Autonomous County People's Procuratorate, and arrested by the Jiang** Yao Autonomous County Public Security Bureau on the same day. He is currently detained at the Yongzhou City Detention Center.

The criminal judgment shows that after Tang and Tang Moujia married, they divorced in 2017 due to long-term domestic violence against Tang Moujia, indulging in gambling and not doing business, resulting in the breakdown of their feelings. After the divorce, Tang Moujia was forced by Tang Moujia to bear the pressure of Tang Mou, and at the same time remembered that the two sons were still young and agreed to continue to live together. After that, Tang still committed domestic violence against Tang Moujia and his son, and Tang Moujia decided to kill Tang Moujia.

At about 6:00 a.m. one day at the end of the lunar month in 2018, Tang Moujia took advantage of the fact that Tang Moujia had not yet gotten up, put a small amount of pesticide paraquat into the cooked dog meat, and successfully induced Tang to eat the dog meat when eating breakfast. Tang mou in the following days gradually appeared breathing difficulties, general weakness and other symptoms and increasingly aggravated, during which, Tang mou because of the inability to drive a motorcycle to transport Tang Moujia to the company commuting, let him live in the company dormitory, Tang Moujia saw the situation and did not inform Tang of the poisoning.

At about 20:00 on March 22, 2018, Tang Moujia returned to his home from the company and found that Tang had died in the bed in the bedroom on the first floor of his home. In order to avoid being discovered by others, Tang Moujia carried Tang Mou's body to the back of the house and dug a pit to bury it, and continued to maintain a normal life, and declared to the outside world that he did not know Where Tang Mou went.

At about 10:00 on March 13, 2020, Tang's mother, Huang Mou, found Tang's body when she was cultivating vegetables in the open space behind the house, and Tang's eldest son knew about it and reported the case to the public security organs that night. After identification, it is considered that Tang Mou died of paraquat poisoning.

After the incident, defendant Tang Moujia was arrested by the public security organs at about 1:00 a.m. on March 14, 2020 at a certain company, and truthfully confessed his criminal facts and obtained the forgiveness of the victim's close relatives.

The Intermediate People's Court of Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, held that defendant Tang Moujia had deliberately and illegally deprived others of their lives and caused death, and his conduct had constituted the crime of intentional homicide. The public prosecution charged defendant Tang Moujia with intentional homicide. The verdict is as follows: Tang Moujia committed intentional homicide and was sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment and deprivation of political rights for three years.
