In the current hot new energy market, in 2021, the global sales of pure electric vehicles under the BMW Group reached about 103,900 units, an increase of 133.2% year-on-year; the sales volume in the Chinese market exceeded 48,000 units, an increase of 69.6% year-on-year. Among them, the pure electric iX3 sold more than 21,000 units in the first full sales year. Since 2014, the BMW Group has delivered nearly 140,000 new energy vehicles in China.

In order to accelerate the pace of electric power and enhance the customer experience, BMW has further improved its new energy vehicle service network. Among about 600 dealers in the country, more than 500 dealers have completed BMW i business certification. Through cooperation with Chinese enterprises, by the end of 2021, BMW's network of public charging piles will reach 360,000, and BMW's exclusive parking and charging integration service has also covered 9 airports in 5 major cities across the country and more than 10 popular business districts across the country.
