In the autumn of 1221, Genghis Khan launched the first western expedition, and Hua Lazimo dared to kill the Mongol merchants, and he must avenge the murdered people. However, during the attack on Van Yen Fort, Mu A Bald gan was killed by a cold arrow.
Genghis Khan was so grief-stricken that he ordered his generals to attack day and night, exerting all their strength to break the city in the shortest possible time. Later, when the city was destroyed, Genghis Khan, in order to avenge his grandson, ordered that all the people, livestock, and animals in the city be exterminated, not to pardon a single person, not to leave a single thing, and then to raze the city to the ground.
