First place: Malone Pond
Ma Longtan is 18 years older than Zhang Zuolin, is the eldest brother, the earliest debut, can write and martial arts, known as a Confucian general. This determines that he is more influenced by traditional culture than Zhang Zuolin, so he is the most loyal to the Qing court. Because of the suppression of peasants' resistance to donations, Puyi gave him a plaque and a silver bottle of "Junsheng Yuanshao".
Before and after the Xinhai Revolution, in order to preserve the Qing court, he fought against various rebel teams. But strangely, when the Qing Dynasty fell, he also changed very quickly. When Yuan Shikai became emperor, he resolutely resisted Yuan Shikai. When Zhang Zuolin became famous, due to his advanced age, he became an aide, never relied on his relationship with Zhang Zuolin or the convenience of his position to enrich himself, and his character was very good.
The most admirable thing is that the national integrity of Ma longtan not only angered Tsarist Russia, but also turned his face with Japan after 9.18, and almost crashed to death in order not to be controlled by the Japanese. So when Ma Longtan died in 1940, tens of thousands of people spontaneously sent funerals for him.
Ma Longtan is the brother of Zhang Zuolin, with the highest level of education and the highest integrity. Although his achievements are not as high as Zhang Zuolin's, he is very upright. The only stain is that he once fought for the Qing court. However, standing in the historical environment at that time, it did not seem to be a big problem.
Second place: Wu Junsheng
Wu Junsheng is 12 years older than Zhang Zuolin. His experience is very similar to Zhang Zuolin,he has not read any books, he has herded horses, herded sheep, and later trafficked horses when he was a child. For example, after Yuan Shikai became emperor, Ma Longtan resisted, but he and Zhang Zuolin supported it, so the two brothers were tied very tightly.
It can even be said that Wu Junsheng was Zhang Zuolin's right and left arm in the early days, and he fought feng Delin for Zhang Zuolin and guo Songling. But he is also famous for his greed for money. I'm afraid this has something to do with his experience of poverty as a child. Fortunately, Zhang Zuolin was not embarrassed by him. In the end, Wu Junsheng and Zhang Zuolin were killed together in Huanggutun.
Third place: Feng Delin
This was once Zhang Zuolin's strongest opponent, nine years older than Zhang Zuolin. After the two joined forces to drive away Duan Zhigui in 1916, a pattern of one mountain and two tigers was formed in the northeast. However, due to the fact that when driving out Duan Zhigui, Feng Delin's lead singer had a black face and offended Duan Zhigui, so Duan Zhigui tried his best to belittle Feng Delin in front of Yuan Shikai, so that Zhang Zuolin was awarded the first hand, and he condescended to the second. This is actually the fuse for the two people to oppose their goals.
A year later, Feng Delin rebelled against Zhang Zuolin, and because Wu Junsheng supported Zhang Zuolin, Feng Delin was defeated. After the situation subsided, Feng Delin supported Zhang Xun's restoration and was imprisoned by Duan Qirui. At this moment, Zhang Zuolin showed a very high wrist, so that Duan Qirui finally released Feng Delin. After that, Feng Delin could no longer turn over any waves, and eventually fell ill and died.
Fourth place: Tang Yulin
Tang Yulin is four years older than Zhang Zuolin, and was once Zhang Zuolin's savior, but he also broke up with Zhang Zuolin. Because Tang Yulin is too arrogant. In order to force Zhang Zuolin to replace Wang Yongjiang, he did not hesitate to advise, but Feng Delin seized this opportunity and almost overturned Zhang Zuolin. Later, he followed Feng Delin to support Zhang Xun, but absconded after failure.
Thanks to Zhang Zuolin's failure to remember the old evils, Tang Yulin returned. After that, Tang Yulin basically took Zhang Zuolin. When Guo Songling rebelled, Tang Yulin fought the most courageously. But after Zhang Zuolin's death, he sprouted again, and although he did not rebel, he became a small independent kingdom within the Northeast Army. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he refused the invitation of the Japanese many times, and finally fell ill and died, preserving his last integrity.
Fifth place: Zhang Jinghui
Zhang Jinghui was originally Feng Delin's right and left arm, but since following Zhang Zuolin, he has become a hardcore supporter of Zhang Zuolin. When Feng Delin rebelled, Zhang Jinghui sided with Zhang Zuolin. Thus began to soar. Unfortunately, Zhang Jinghui has no great talent.
In the First Zhifeng War, Zhang Jinghui commanded the Western Theater, but he was afraid of his head and tail, which led to Zhang Zuolin's defeat. However, he turned his face and ran to Cao Kun's men to become an official, so angry that Zhang Zuolin was going crazy. Although Zhang Zuolin eventually forgave him, Zhang Jinghui surrendered to Japan after Zhang Zuolin's death, becoming the only one of the eight brothers to be spurned. He was later captured by the Soviets and eventually died of illness in the War Criminals Management Center.
Sixth place: Sun Liechen
Zhang Zuolin's initial right and left arm was Wu Junsheng, but later he became Sun Liechen. His most famous battle was that in the First Zhifeng War, Wu Peifu fought alone for more than ten days, completely stabilizing the situation in the three eastern provinces. Otherwise, if he couldn't resist it, it was estimated that there would be no second zhifeng war.
At the same time, Sun Liechen also has a sense of responsibility. When he was the overseer of Jilin Province, his reputation was very good. Compared to Wu Junsheng, the overseer of Heilongjiang, it was much stronger. Therefore, among Zhang Zuolin's brothers, the only person who can really resist things, stand up to things, and still do things is Sun Liechen. This is also the reason why Sun Liechen was the first of these eight brothers to die. After Sun Liechen's death, Zhang Zuolin wept darkly. Unfortunately, there is no longer sun liechen in the world.

Eighth place: Zhang Zuoxiang
If Sun Liechen is Zhang Zuolin's true right and left arm, then Zhang Zuoxiang is Zhang Xueliang's destiny nobleman. Without Zhang Zuoxiang's full support, Zhang Xueliang would not have taken over the power so smoothly. For example, after Zhang Zuolin's death, Zhang Zuoxiang was recommended as the commander-in-chief of the security of the three northeastern provinces, but Zhang Zuoxiang resolutely refused to take office and gave this position to Zhang Xueliang!
After Zhang Xueliang changed his mind in the northeast, it was Zhang Zuoxiang who took the lead in supporting him. Almost every step of Zhang Xueliang's step has the credit of Zhang Zuoxiang. What is even more valuable is that after the loss of the three eastern provinces, Zhang Zuoxiang was deeply ashamed and refused to take up the post of commander-in-chief of the northeast border defense in other places. Later, he repeatedly refused to be co-opted by the Japanese.
Therefore, in addition to Zhang Zuolin, Zhang Zuoxiang received the highest positive evaluation, even when the northeast was liberated, he was treated with courtesy, and finally died of illness in Tianjin in March 1949.
