However, in recent years, scholars who have been popping up demons and ghosts in the academic circles have one of them made wild remarks and openly declared on the Internet that the Yangzhou Ten Days massacre was purely fictitious, and the "Ten Diaries of Yangzhou" is likely to be a book forged by the late Qing Revolutionary Party.
Regarding the Ten Days of Yangzhou, there are many controversies in the academic circles, such as whether it slaughtered for ten days and whether it slaughtered 800,000 people, but according to historical records, one thing is certain: the Qing army did have a large-scale slaughter in Yangzhou. So, what is the truth about the Ten Days in Yangzhou?
The famous scholar Yan Chongnian once asked this question: Why can the Manchus of 600,000 people conquer the Han nationality of 10,000 people?
