Ms. Ren, a native of Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, who usually works in Shanghai and returned to her hometown to visit relatives during the Spring Festival, found that a diamond ring worth nearly 200,000 yuan was missing after taking the high-speed train through Yangzhou East Railway Station on January 28. In addition to its own preciousness, this diamond ring also has a certain special significance, Ms. Ren was very anxious, called the railway customer service hotline, hoping that the station staff could help find it.

At about 7 o'clock that night, after receiving Ms. Ren's help, Li Mingxia, the passenger transport attendant of Yangzhou East Railway Station, immediately contacted Ms. Lost Director to further understand the relevant situation. Ms. Ren said the lost diamond ring was her wedding ring, worth nearly 200,000 yuan. It may have been lost while waiting in the waiting room, but I don't remember the specific details.

Because the items were very valuable, more than 10 police officers and station staff from the Yangzhou Station Police Station of the Nanjing Railway Public Security Department searched in the waiting room. Some police officers viewed the public video frame by frame according to the trajectory described by Ms. Ren, while others carefully searched along the trajectory with flashlights. However, because the diamond ring was too small and it was getting late, it was very difficult to find a job, and everyone searched back and forth for nearly 4 hours without yielding.

On 29 January, the civilian police and station staff did not give up and continued to expand the search area. Finally, at about 14 o'clock, the staff found Ms. Ren's lost diamond ring in the gap of a chair, and everyone immediately told Ms. Ren the good news. At about 17 o'clock on the same day, Ms. Ren and her family came to Yangzhou East Railway Station to collect the intact diamond ring and sent flowers to thank the police and staff.

Coincidentally, on January 29, the police at the railway station police station also helped a passenger find a mobile phone worth 10,000 yuan. At about 10:30 that day, the traveler Mr. Sun asked for help and said that he lost a mobile phone worth 10,000 yuan at the ticket gate, and the police immediately went to work, and the monitoring showed that Mr. Sun was not approached during the queue, and the police speculated that the location of his mobile phone loss should be elsewhere. According to Mr. Sun's whereabouts, the police found that after Mr. Sun left the bathroom, a man in black holding a mobile phone suspected of being Mr. Sun entered and exited the bathroom twice, and his appearance was suspicious. After work, the police contacted Xu, a man in black, by phone, who was already on the train to Shanghai, and Xu immediately admitted that he had picked up his mobile phone in the bathroom and was willing to return it. The civilian police immediately educated him in the legal system and ordered him to make corrections. After communication, at 13 o'clock on the same day, Xu handed over the mobile phone to the service desk of Shanghai Station, and at 17 o'clock, Mr. Xu Sun finally retrieved the lost mobile phone.

It is understood that during the Spring Festival, Yangzhou East Railway Station and Yangzhou Railway Police opened a green channel for passenger assistance, focusing on emergencies such as sudden diseases, lost items, and lost personnel during the travel process, integrating multiple resources to solve problems for passengers in the first time and protect the safety of the Spring Festival. Up to now, it has helped more than 40 passengers and recovered more than 300,000 yuan in economic losses.
