How to judge the quality of a diamond?
What does the commonly heard meaning of "3X diamonds"?
The average diamond grading agency considers seven factors when evaluating the cut of a round brilliant diamond — brightness, fire, sparkle, weight ratio, durability, polish, and symmetry, ranging from excellent to poor. 3X Diamond is a trade name, X is an abbreviation for "Excellent", and 3X actually means "Excellent" for cut, polish, and symmetry grades.

Diamond polish and symmetry affect the cut of a diamond, but the cut grade of a diamond is not entirely determined by the grades of these two items, and if a 3X diamond contains a visible inclusion or extremely strong fluorescence, it will also lose its luster slightly.
