Meanwhile, narrow passenger car sales in December were 2.105 million units, down 7.9% y/y. Among them, cars sold a total of 1.049 million units, down 1.7% year-on-year and up 17.6% month-on-month.
Judging from the sales performance of the single month in December, Hongguang MINIEV achieved a record of 50,561 units, ranking first in december car sales, an increase of 42.9% year-on-year. Nissan Xuanyi ranked second with a slight disadvantage, with sales of 50,492 units, down 19.7% year-on-year. Volkswagen Langyi, Toyota Corolla, Tesla Model 3 ranked 3-5 respectively, and sales exceeded 30,000 vehicles. In addition to Hongguang MINIEV, Geely Emgrand and BYD Qin series of two independent brand models also squeezed into the top 10 of the December car sales list, especially BYD Qin achieved 25940 unit sales results, an increase of 485.7% year-on-year, with the improvement of Qin family models and BYD's leading edge in pure electric and hybrid technology, the performance of future Qin series models is very worth looking forward to.
In terms of annual sales performance, Nissan Xuanyi unexpectedly won the throne of sales champion, with annual sales of 513207 vehicles, far ahead of Volkswagen Langyi, which ranked second. Although Xuanyi's sales fell by 5.1% year-on-year, its hegemony is still difficult to shake. At the same time, Hongguang MINIEV ranked third with 395451 vehicles, an increase of 250.7% year-on-year.
