Speaking of battery packs, the endurance of The Hongguang MINIEV GB is still quite large, the 200km version is equipped with a 17.3kWh battery, the 300km version is equipped with a 26.5kWh battery, and previously, the maximum endurance of the Hongguang MINIEV was 170km (low-end is 120km). In addition to the improvement of battery life, the charging efficiency of Hongguang MINIEV GB has also been improved, although it still only supports slow charging, but the charging time is shortened. The 300km version only has a full charge of 8.5h, while the Hongguang MINIEV version takes 9h.

Since it was a short test drive, we did not do actual measurements for battery life and charging, and what can feel the difference more is the acceleration performance. The Hongguang MINIEV GB is equipped with a 30kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (rear drive), which is 10kW higher than that of the Hongguang MINIEV. 10kW may seem small, but it still has an effect on a small car. The intuitive feeling is that starting and accelerating is more energetic. It is mainly manifested in the speed of 50km/h.
