However, in July 2008, Luo Jing was diagnosed with lymphoma, and then he stopped working and underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplant surgery and chemotherapy, but the disease was relentless, and on June 5, 2009, he died of the disease at the age of 48.

2. Zhao Zhongxiang (January 16, 1942 - January 16, 2020)

He is China's first male announcer, followed the delegation to visit US President Carter, has hosted "News Network", "Animal World", "Man and Nature" and other programs, since 1984 has hosted the Spring Festival Gala 12 times, and Ni Ping formed the earliest CP, in the words of Aunt Baiyun, he is the idol in the hearts of the people of the country.

3. Li Yong (May 3, 1968 – October 25, 2018)
20 years ago, in the era when variety shows were not yet developed, CCTV's two phenomenal variety shows became benchmarks, one was the "Happy Dictionary" hosted by Wang Xiaoya, and the other was "Lucky 52" hosted by Li Yong.
At that time, the host of CCTV spoke at a glance, as if there was a draft in advance, but Li Yong was different, his hosting style was to act casually, and he did not feel a little sense of design.
After all these years, I can still recall two details.
The first is that Li Yong called the audience outside the venue at the scene of the program, faced with various unexpected situations, talked and played with ease, turning the accident into a joke.
The second is that every time Li Yong finishes reading the answer card, he will throw the answer card to the audience like a paper airplane, and the action is very elegant, and for the first time when I was young, I thought that this uncle with a long face was so handsome.
Later, Li Yong hosted "Very 6+1" and successfully became the host of the Spring Festival Gala, becoming the best male host in the hearts of many viewers.

4. Tao Wei (January 11, 1966 – August 27, 2012)

5. Xiao Xiaolin (August 1962 - June 28, 2017)
"Today's Statement" is a program with a high national popularity, which has been hosted by Sabine and Zhang Shaogang, and is still active in major variety shows.
I remember when I was a child, in addition to them, there was also a female host named Xiao Xiaolin who often appeared to host the show.
In fact, Xiao Xiaolin is a CCTV veteran host, she was admitted to the broadcast department of Beijing Broadcasting College at the age of 15, became an announcer of Changsha Television Station at the age of 23, and entered CCTV at the age of 26, and has hosted popular programs such as "Ethics and Thinking", "Focus Interview", "News Network", "Half the Sky", "Today's Sayings" and so on.

7. Wang Huan (February 14, 1971 – July 3, 2013)
Wang Huan began working at Hebei Chengde Television Station at the age of 19, and at the age of 23, he entered CCTV and successively served as the host of "East, West, South, South and North" and "China Music Television".
From 1995 until her death, she worked for the Movie Channel for nearly 20 years, and was the director and host of "Show Preview" and "Next Week Movie".
On July 3, 2013, Wang Huan died of cancer at the age of 42.
After the news of her death came, the host Jingwei posted: "Just learned... Suddenly I couldn't help myself. ”
Netizens also left messages expressing shock: "She is our childhood memories, and the end of the animation every day is the "Chengde News" hosted by her." 8. Shen Xuhua (December 20, 1969 - August 20, 2002)
On the evening of August 1, 2002, in front of The Zhang Shengji Restaurant in Beijing, a construction worker found a woman who had fallen from a building, and then the police and 120 ambulances rushed to take the woman to Beijing Anzhen Hospital, but after 19 days of rescue, the woman died of diffuse cerebral hemorrhage.
The woman who died was CCTV host Shen Xuhua, who participated in the CCTV host competition in the early years and was selected by the "Sunset Red" column as the host of the show, she was only 33 years old at the time of the incident, her family was happy, her career was smooth, how could she suddenly fall off the building?
After investigation, the police found that Shen Xuhua received a phone call during the meal that night, because the surrounding environment was noisy, she walked to a passage door outside the box, and the passage did not have a staircase, Shen Xuhua took a step in the air, fell from the second floor to the first floor, causing this tragedy.
After Shen Xuhua's death, her family sued the hotel, and a year later, the law ruled that Shen Xuhua's family won the lawsuit, receiving 380,000 yuan in compensation.
Although the lawsuit was won, but the person was gone, a good host died in such a bizarre way, which made people lament the impermanence of fate.
9. Sinking Force (1933-July 28, 2020)
Shen Li became China's first announcer at the age of 25 (Zhao Zhongxiang was the second), and some reportage writers praised her as the "first drop of water" in the broadcast hosting industry.
In the early years, Beijing Television Station (the predecessor of CCTV) had only one host, Shen Li, and she held multiple positions, and she had to broadcast news and host a variety of programs such as literature, art, sports, and social education, from the broadcast of tiananmen festivals and the hosting of large-scale literary and art evenings, to the interview of Hou Baolin And Li Guyi, to the small copywriter, she did everything and was an all-rounder.
After the 1980s, there were more CCTV hosts, and Shen Li also unloaded his burden and became the host of "Serving You" until his retirement in 1988.
In 1993, she was rehired by CCTV as the host of the "Sunset Red" program, and Zhao Zhongxiang mentioned that she affectionately called her "Sister Shen".
On July 28, 2020, the famous host Shen Li died of illness in Beijing at the age of 87, and after his death, the audience learned that Shen Li had been fighting cancer for many years.
Shen Li has devoted her life to the cause of television program hosting in China, is an old artist with both virtue and art, and when someone compiles the history of television programs in the future, she will leave a strong mark.
Finally, including Zhao He, the 10 deceased CCTV hosts, the oldest 87 years old, the youngest 32 years old, 3 died of accidents, 7 died of cancer, which also shows that the host's profession is facing huge pressure, and living under pressure for a long time will exponentially increase the risk of cancer.
