In December 2021, Foton sold 37,368 vehicles (including commercial vehicles and passenger cars), down 37.12% year-on-year. In the whole year of 2021, Foton sold 650018 vehicles of various types, down 4.43% year-on-year.
Foton Motor's sales are mainly contributed by commercial vehicles. In December 2021, Futian sold 36,669 commercial vehicles of various types, down 32.83% year-on-year; in 2021, Futian sold 642927 commercial vehicles of various types, a slight decrease of 4.48% year-on-year.

Heavy-duty trucks exceeded 100,000 units in the whole year, and the cumulative sales of medium trucks increased by 57% to 76,000

According to the data, in December 2021, Foton sold 5,180 medium- and heavy-duty trucks (including incomplete vehicles), down 62.15% year-on-year; in 2021, Foton sold 181262 medium- and heavy-duty trucks (including incomplete vehicles), down 7.38% year-on-year.
Among them, Foton heavy trucks (including incomplete vehicles) sold 2677 vehicles in December, accounting for 51.68% of the sales of medium and heavy trucks; in 2021, Foton heavy trucks (including incomplete vehicles) sold 105387 vehicles, down 28.52% year-on-year.
Foton Zhongka sold 2,503 units in November, down 66.34% year-on-year; in 2021, Foton Naka Truck sold a total of 75,875 units, an increase of 57.19% year-on-year.
Foton Daimler Automobile, a joint venture between Foton Motor and Daimler, sold 1,320 Auman brand medium and heavy-duty truck products in December 2021, down 78.93% year-on-year; in 2021, Foton Daimler Automobile sold 103974 Auman brand medium- and heavy-duty trucks, down 18.99% year-on-year.
The cumulative sales of light trucks reached nearly 420,000 units, down 4% year-on-year
In December 2021, Foton Light Trucks (including Omarco, Aoling, Times and other sub-brands) achieved sales of 27,511 units, down 23.14% year-on-year; in 2021, Foton Light Trucks sold 415676 units, down 4.38% year-on-year.
Light passengers accumulated sales of 43,000 increased by 12%, and the number of passengers exceeded 1,000, up 9% year-on-year
Light buses are also an important part of Foton's sales.
In December 2021, Foton sold 3,734 light buses, down 17.61% year-on-year; in 2021, Foton sold a total of 43,263 light buses, an increase of 11.93% year-on-year.
In terms of large and medium-sized buses, Foton Motor sold 244 large and medium-sized buses (including incomplete vehicles) in December, down 57.86% year-on-year; in 2021, Foton large and medium-sized buses (including incomplete vehicles) sold a total of 2726 units, down 32.10% year-on-year.
Specifically, in December 2021, Foton sold 153 large buses (including non-complete vehicles), down 66% year-on-year; in 2021, it sold 1599 large buses, down 46.34% year-on-year.
In December 2021, Foton sold 91 medium-sized buses, down 29.46% year-on-year, and in 2021, it sold 1127 medium-sized buses, an increase of 8.89% year-on-year.
In addition, Futian sold 1,686 new energy vehicles in December 2021, an increase of 21.82% year-on-year; in 2021, it sold 8,540 new energy vehicles, an increase of 24.25% year-on-year. Foton New Energy Vehicles increased by more than 20% year-on-month in December and the whole year of 2021, performing well.

In December 2021, Foton sold 29,204 engines, down 20.19% year-on-year; among them, Foton Cummins engines sold 23,335 units, down 26.48% year-on-year; Foton Aucom engines sold 5,869 units, an increase of 14.38% year-on-year.
From the perspective of cumulative sales, in the whole year of 2021, Foton has sold 360722 engines, a slight decrease of 3.02% year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative sales of Foton Cummins engines 292257 units, down 7.20% year-on-year; Foton Aucom engines sold 68465 units, an increase of 20.10% year-on-year.
