In early November last year, Yamaha Europe unveiled the 2022' MT-07 medium-sized sports street car with a new pattern (new decal).
The MT-07 was born in 2013 (first released, with factory numbers of 1WS/1XB/BU2 in different regional markets), officially launched in 2014, and launched the second generation of products (factory number B4C) in 2017. By the beginning of November 2020, the third generation of MT-07 was released and officially launched last year. The new 2022' MT-07 is a new body design based on last year's third-generation model.
The third-generation MT-07 is equipped with a water-cooled four-stroke in-line two-cylinder, DOHC four-cylinder four-cylinder CP2 engine with a bore, stroke of 80 mm x 68.5 mm, a displacement of 689 cc, and a maximum power output of 54 kW (approx. 73.4 hp). The European version and the Chinese version have the same specifications), the maximum torque is 67 Nm, in line with euro 5 emission standards.
In terms of body, the original steel pipe diamond frame and the left and right asymmetrical design of the swingarm are used, and there is an APPEARANCE STYLE OF THE MT SERIES FAMILY FACET. Its good handling characteristics are one of the important factors in the popularity of the MT-07 in many overseas markets.
The third generation of MT-07 has a pattern for the domestic market (2021 model), and the official suggested retail price is 109,800 yuan.
The new 2022' MT-07 is tentatively scheduled to begin this spring and be supplied to the local European market.
