
In September last year, Yamaha YZF-R15 V4.0 and R15M, which debuted in the Southeast Asian market, were officially introduced to the Taiwan market by Yamaha Yamaha in Taiwan. In Taiwan Province, the Yamaha R15M is priced at NT$155,000 (about 35,000 RMB) and the R15 V4.0 is priced at NT$146,000 (about 33,000 RMB). The new R15 in Taiwan is equipped with ABS, TCS and Y-CONNECT systems, and the R15M model is also equipped with one-way fast row and TCS.
The latest YZF-R15 adopts a new family design, which is very similar to the new YZF-R7, and is closer to the YZF-R1/R6, and the next generation of R3/R25 is likely to adopt this front face design!
In terms of power, it is still the familiar 155cc displacement single-cylinder water-cooled engine, with peak horsepower of 18.4Ps/10,000rpm, maximum torque of 14.7Nm/8, 500rpm, and a sliding clutch as standard. Both seats are 815 mm high and weigh 142 kg.
In terms of configuration, the new R15 is equipped with the same full LCD instrument as the R3, and the suspension uses a 37mm inverted fork with multi-link center rear suspension. The front brakes are 282mm single disc with one-way dual-piston calipers, while the rear brakes are 220mm single discs with one-way single-piston calipers, with a dual-channel ABS system as standard.
The new R15 and R15M introduced in the Taiwan market have a total of five car colors, which are available in R15: blue gray, black gray and red gray, and R15M provides the same silver and black color scheme of R1 and the exclusive color of Monster Energy YAMAHA MotoGP Edition.
