Because Guo Jing was familiar with the "Testament of Wu Mu" and had Huang Rong secretly taught him, he grew into a brilliant military expert, and made great contributions to preventing infighting and destroying the neutrality of the "Hua Lazi Model", and Genghis Khan wanted to seal Guo Jing's best fiefdom. When Jin Yong created the role of "Guo Jing", the main prototype he referred to was Guo Baoyu, the Han general under Genghis Khan.
Guo Baoyu (郭宝玉), courtesy name Yuchen, was a descendant of the famous Tang Dynasty general Guo Ziyi. He was proficient in astronomical and military techniques, good at riding and shooting, and was awarded the title of "Duke of Fenyang County" in the last years of the Jin Dynasty. In 1210, Guo Baoyu surrendered to the Mongols and was introduced to Genghis Khan by Muhuali. Because Guo Baoyu offered a strategy to pacify the Central Plains, he was quite highly regarded by Genghis Khan and was introduced as a confidant. Before Genghis Khan's Western Expedition, he granted Guo Baoyu the post of Governor of Madu.

In 1219, Guo Baoyu accompanied Genghis Khan on a western expedition to conquer the Khitan remnants. Conquered the ancient Xu ghost kingdom of Yiduo (Tiger Si Hui'er) and other cities, destroying more than 300,000 of its troops, and just when Guo Baoyu commanded the siege, he was shot by a stray arrow, and he saw that he was about to die, but the military doctor was helpless. Genghis Khan valued Guo Baoyu very much, did not want him to leave at a young age, and decided to try the "old way" of the Mongols. Only to see him order a live cow to be found, and then order someone to cut open the belly of the cow and stuff Guo Baoyu into it.
Miraculously, Guo Baoyu, who had just been seriously injured and endangered, actually came back to life after a while. After recovering from his injury, Guo Baoyu continued to fight for Genghis Khan, conquering the cities of Don't Lose Eight Mile and Don't Lose Lan. In addition to Guo Baoyu, Genghis Khan also used this method to save other generals. For example, when the Mongol general Bu Zhi'er accompanied Genghis Khan to return to Hui and Huiluosi, he was a pioneer and a soldier, so he was hit by several arrows.

Genghis Khan ordered the cattle to be taken, dissected their abdomen, and stuffed Buzhi'er into it. When Bu zhi'er was soaked by the hot blood of the cow, he quickly came back to life. During the reign of Wokoutai in Mongolia, his general Xie Muhuan fainted with three arrows during an attack on Shanxi. Following his father's example, Wo Kuotai pulled Xie Muhuan back from the Ghost Gate.
