Comrade Jin Caifeng, a member of the Communist Party of China, a famous Yue opera performance artist and the founder of the Yue opera "Golden School" art, died at the age of 92 at 10:45 a.m. on January 10, 2022 at the Central Hospital of Xuhui District, Shanghai due to illness.
Comrade Jin Caifeng is the representative inheritor of Yue opera of the national intangible cultural heritage project, with a strong singing voice, rigidity and softness, and its own style. The performance is delicate and timeless, good at portraying the inner feelings of the characters, shaping many classic stage images, devoting himself to the inheritance and development of the cause of Yue opera all his life, and making far-reaching historical contributions to the development of Yue opera art.
At the request of the family and the needs of epidemic prevention and control, the farewell ceremony of Comrade Jin Caifeng's body is not public.

The artistic life of Jin Caifeng
Jinpai is a genre of Yue opera Danjiao founded by Jin Caifeng. Jin Caifeng, formerly known as Jin Cuifeng, was born in Shanghai in November 1930 in Yin County, Zhejiang Province, and was admitted to the training class of the Xuesheng Theater Troupe in 1946.
