Passenger Association: Most of the sales of new energy models will not be significantly affected by the decline

The U.S. Stock Research Agency learned that the association released data: the retail sales of the passenger car market reached 2.105 million units in December 2021, down 7.9% year-on-year, down 1.9% compared with December 2019, and the overall retail sales in December were significantly stronger. At the same time, retail sales of new energy passenger cars reached 475,000 units in December, up 128.8% year-on-year and 25.4% month-on-month. From January to December, the retail sales of new energy vehicles were 2.989 million units, an increase of 169.1% year-on-year. Among them, Tesla's wholesale sales of Cars produced in China in December were 70,847 units, compared with 52,859 units in November. With the implementation of the decline of new energy subsidies, the prices of some models have been fine-tuned, and the consumer mentality has also changed, and the demand for new energy vehicles will still be slightly affected. However, new energy vehicles continue to be hot, and there is currently a large backlog of undelivered orders in the early stage, so most of the sales of new energy models will not be significantly affected by the decline.
