During the Spring Festival, logistics employees returned to their hometowns, and the strength of express delivery and distribution was relatively weak. Some regions across the country call for "local New Year", so that express logistics is not only a guarantee for the new customs of online shopping for New Year goods, but also a guarantee for the distribution of civil biological resources in some cities.
To this end, Cainiao announced that it will invest 150,000 employees during the Spring Festival, these front-line workers are distributed in the national warehousing and distribution network, manufacturing origin warehouses, Cainiao stations, as well as global cross-border bonded warehouses, overseas warehouses, etc., to provide logistics support for consumers at home and abroad to buy new year goods online.
In the tens of millions of square meters of self-operated rookie warehouses across the country, millions of tons of various annual goods are piled up on the shelves and ready to go. Among them, Danniao Logistics, a subsidiary of Cainiao, maintained door-to-door delivery in 100 cities across the country during the Spring Festival.
In Dongguan, Foshan, Yiwu, Wuhan, Baoding, Chongqing and other more than 30 manufacturing industries across the country, Cainiao invested in the construction and operation of the production warehouse, during the Spring Festival will help factory directors to "factory price directly" to consumers in 300 cities, it is expected that the consumers in 209 cities will not be downgraded.
This year's Spring Festival, Cainiao Station will continue to ensure that Tmall Taobao parcels are delivered to your door. From January 30 to February 5, cainiao station will have more than 100,000 people on duty during the Spring Festival to ensure service quality.
For the consumer demand for cross-border online shopping "foreign New Year goods", consumers in nearly 200 cities across the country can receive imported goods shipped by Cainiao's self-operated bonded warehouses as usual during the Spring Festival, with a coverage of nearly twice that of last year. Cainiao bonded warehouses at nearly 20 ports across the country will operate normally during the Spring Festival, working overtime to help thousands of merchants around the world deliver imported goods to Chinese consumers.
For the demand of overseas Chinese and even foreign consumers to buy Chinese New Year goods online, their self-operated preferred warehouses, central warehouses, overseas warehouses, etc. will maintain normal operations to ensure the logistics timeliness of cross-border parcels.
