On May 7, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Zhang Jianwei met with Prince Faisal, advisor to the Emir Palace of Kuwait, and had cordial and friendly exchanges on China-Kuwait relations and people-to-people and cultural cooperation.
Ambassador Zhang thanked Prince Faisal for his long-term concern for China's development, the promotion of China-Kuwait friendship and the promotion of bilateral cooperation, and said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Kuwait relations have continued to deepen and solidify, ushering in broad prospects for development. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Belt and Road cooperation document between the two countries, and China is ready to work with Kuwait to carry forward friendship, pioneer and innovate, and promote the high-quality development of bilateral relations.
Prince Faisal happily recalled his visit to China many years ago, spoke highly of the extraordinary achievements made in China's economic, social and cultural development, and said that the Kuwaiti side is willing to work together with the Chinese side to write a new chapter in the friendly relations between Kuwaiti and China.
