On the afternoon of April 10, a reporter from Jimu News contacted Mr. Du, the publisher of the video. He said that he lives in Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, and on April 2, he paid 15,288 yuan on the Idle Fish platform and bought a graphics card at an online store in Xuanwu District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, to play games on a computer. At about 4 p.m. on April 9, he went downstairs to pick up the package, opened it in front of the courier, and found that it was not a graphics card, but a brick and a bottle of water.
Mr. Du told jimu news reporter that at the end of March, he saw an advertisement on the Internet saying that he wanted to list a new graphics card, just because he had demand, he placed an order on the idle fish platform on March 29 and paid 15490 yuan to buy. Later, after receiving the goods, he felt that he did not meet his requirements, he proposed to replace a product, and there was many communications with the seller in the middle, and on the afternoon of April 9, before receiving the new courier, he received the last payment of 15300 yuan returned by the platform. For this matter, Mr. Wei, a staff member of the video card seller, told Jimu News that the courier containing bricks and water was indeed sent through them, but for a reason, they and the buyer had a dispute in the last online transaction.
Mr. Wei introduced that at the end of March, Mr. Du paid more than 15,000 yuan to buy a graphics card, and at that time, mr. Du had been clearly informed that the graphics card "once sold, unless there is a quality problem, it will not be returned", but when Mr. Du received the graphics card, he asked for a return, and after returning the product, he also asked for a supplementary refund of more than 100 yuan, so the two sides had a dispute. Mr. Wei said that in repeated communication, Mr. Du spent another 15,288 yuan to buy a graphics card.
