On May 13, Ying Yong, Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, met with Mohamed Kazwa, Chairman of the Jordanian Judicial Council, and Youssef Ziabate, Attorney General of Jordan.

Ying Yong welcomed the visit of the Jordanian judicial delegation. He said: China and Rio have a traditional friendship. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and King Abdullah II, the two countries have strengthened political mutual trust and made steady progress in practical cooperation. It is the common responsibility of the judicial and procuratorial organs of the two countries to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of rule of law and justice, and to promote greater development of the China-Jordan strategic partnership. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the Chinese procuratorial organs are willing to work with the judicial organs, including the Jordanian procuratorial organs, to tap the potential of cooperation and broaden the scope of cooperation, jointly provide high-quality judicial guarantees for high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and make new contributions to promoting greater development of bilateral relations, so as to better benefit the two countries and two peoples.

Ying Yong gave a briefing on China's procuratorial organs and procuratorial work. Ying Yong said that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China's procuratorial organs are thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the resolution of the National People's Congress of China on the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, focusing on the goal of "striving to make the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case", performing their legal supervision functions with high quality and efficiency, focusing on serving the overall situation, serving the people's justice, and taking responsibility for the rule of law, and continue to promote the procuratorial practice of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, so as to better serve Chinese modernization with the modernization of procuratorial work. China's Supreme People's Procuratorate attaches great importance to the application of new technologies such as informatization and digitalization in procuratorial work, thoroughly implements the digital procuratorial strategy, formulates a plan for the construction of digital procuratorates, builds a digital procuratorial work mechanism, and makes full use of big data, physical evidence identification and other technologies to serve judicial case handling, empower legal supervision, and improve the quality and efficiency of case handling. The Chinese procuratorial organs are willing to share China's experience and technology, and at the same time learn from the experience of the Jordanian side to promote the better development of the procuratorial work of the two countries.

Mohammad Qazwa and Youssef Ziabat thanked Ying Yong for his warm meeting, spoke highly of China's achievements in the construction of the rule of law and in procuratorial work, and in particular, fully affirmed and appreciated the application of new technologies in China's procuratorial work, and hoped to learn from the advanced experience of China's procuratorial organs, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the procuratorial organs of the two countries in the areas of informatization, cracking down on new types of crimes, and training of procurators, so as to make positive contributions to consolidating and deepening the friendship between the two countries.
