However, I never dreamed that after 14 years, I could drive the coupe hatchback SUV launched by the domestic brand Geely, the Hoshikoshi S, and greet the surprised eyes of passers-by on the street.
From the perspective of automotive media, it is not a new car that will be listed in July 2021, and the overwhelming media publicity has long made everyone familiar with its appearance, interior, power and other details. In order to differentiate the content of the test drive, I deliberately chose to drive this Hoshikoshi S to run a round-trip trip of more than 300km to experience this car in depth.
The overall vehicle exterior design still maintains the Geely family style, but in some details, Hoshigoshi S also gives a face to the young people with personality. For example, the decorations similar to the magic grab logo on the left and right sides of the front face are the most direct and personalized embodiment of this car.
A similar design continues to the side of the body, with a green strip of decoration from front to back, achieving penetration, and the flat side also has a striking visual highlight.
The design of the rim also gets rid of blandness, and the 20-inch double ten rims coupled with the blackened visual effect give the car a "long-legged Oba" visual sense. Surprisingly, the car's four tires are all in the 245/45 R20 Goodyear SUV dedicated high-end model, which alone may cost nearly 5,000 yuan.
As for the rear of the car, the exhaust pipes with a total of four bilateral sides are also the favorite of young people who love performance, and the effect is bursting, but also saves a lot of modification costs in the later stage.
The interior details are even more noteworthy, with the eye-catching BOSE sound at the bottom of the A-pillar. In actual experience, this sound system is indeed much better than the sound effect of the same level of models.
Another highlight is that hoshikoshi S's reversing image is also excellent, it can be switched to a 360° overhead view, and it uses a split-screen display, and the obstacles next to it are clear at a glance. This configuration is very friendly for novice drivers with average driving skills.

Finally, let's talk about the configuration of the car that impressed me the most, and that is its headlight system. As can be seen from the above picture, after turning on the high beam, the intelligent headlight system of hoshigoku S automatically avoids the area of the vehicle in front of it, preventing direct light from shooting. But the "light factory" Audi achieved this function by turning off several light modules, and this Hoshigoku S I studied for half a day and did not understand how it was achieved.
Of course, to say that there are certainly disadvantages, because the temperature when we test drive is low, about -1 ° C ~ -6 ° C, so the feel of the air conditioning knob every time the cold start is very jerky, only waiting for the temperature to restore silkiness.
The mobile phone platform below the air conditioning control area is also one of the slot points, it has no wireless charging function, and the storage slot with wireless charging function is in the second layer below the central control, and this design can be upgraded later.
Finally, to talk about the practical performance of this car, the coupe SUV has a common problem, that is, for the beautiful roof arc, cutting the head space of the rear passengers. But in Hoshigoku S, this problem has been solved very well, even if the tall 185 cm big man sits in the car, the head and the roof still have 2-3 finger space, friends who care about this aspect can be completely assured.
Similarly, the trunk is also very generous, the huge opening can be directly stuffed with a drum washing machine with packaging, and with the rear seat 4/6 split down, there is no problem in moving with it.
