Beijing Hyundai's December sales are out: Kustu is eye-catching, and Elantra is a hit!

Recently, Beijing Hyundai released sales data for some models in December and 2021. According to Uncle Che, the annual sales of the seventh-generation Elantra were 130,000 vehicles, and the monthly sales volume in December was 17,009 vehicles; the monthly sales of the fifth-generation Tucson L were 6,390 units in December, and achieved an average monthly increase of 114% in the fourth quarter; the new ix35 sold a total of 82,924 units in 2021, reaching 7,947 units in December. It is worth mentioning that the sales of Beijing Hyundai's first MPV model, Kustu, is also very good, with cumulative sales of 7967 vehicles in the three months of listing, ranking among the top ten in the monthly sales list of MPV models.

According to foreign media reports, Hyundai Motor Company issued a statement saying that the brand's global sales in 2021 reached 3.89 million vehicles, although it is still 110,000 units away from the planned annual sales target of 4 million vehicles, but compared with 374 vehicles in 2020, there has been a significant increase in annual sales, which also shows that Hyundai Motor is actively seeking an upward path. It is reported that Hyundai Motor has set an annual sales target of 4.32 million units for 2022.

Nowadays, Beijing Hyundai's product matrix has been quite comprehensive, including sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and drive forms including fuel and new energy, providing consumers with more choices. As the sales pillar of Beijing Hyundai, the seventh generation of Elantra and the new ix35 performed well, if the chip supply can be stabilized, I believe that the fifth generation of Tucson L and Kustu will also accumulate in 2022, let's wait and see.
