A few days ago, the driving line of sight learned from relevant channels that Shanghai has built more than 500,000 charging piles, and in the past 2021, 22,000 new public (including dedicated) charging piles have been added, of which about 130,000 are public piles and special piles, 70 substations have been built (including 29 taxi substations), and the city's vehicle-to-pile ratio has reached 1.2:1.
It is worth mentioning that Shanghai has also launched a commercial charging pile platform "Lianlian Charging PRO" to achieve one-network inquiry and one-network payment, and by the end of 2021, there are about 800 online stations in Shanghai, 12,000 DC fast charging guns, and 30 taxi charging demonstration stations, which better guarantee the charging needs of pure electric taxis, online ride-hailing cars and private cars.
In addition, the charging capacity of public charging facilities in Shanghai continues to grow by leaps and bounds, with a charging capacity of about 930 million kWh in 2021, an increase of 40% over 2020. The data shows that at the moment when the domestic carbon peak policy is actively promoted and the industrial production and life are fully transformed, the proportion of pure electric vehicles in Shanghai is getting higher and higher.
