What is the end point of entry?
The answer of most people is the same, that is, "under one person, above ten thousand people", that is, the prime minister who actually holds a lot of power, although according to the traditional education of Confucianism, after entering the world, it is supposed to pursue "governing the country and the world", but first of all, you need to have power to be able to carry out what you want to do, and over time having power itself has become the goal, so it has given birth to many powerful subjects.
Although there are many powerful ministers in history, there are few good endings, and most of them do not get a good end, such as the powerful ministers in the early Kangxi Dynasty. Aobai was a samurai proficient in riding and shooting, from a young age under the guidance of his grandfather and father, learned various military martial arts, entered the army in his youth, because he was very brave in battle, and had many outstanding battle achievements, so he was trusted by the Emperor Taiji as a confidant and given the name "Batulu".
"Batulu" is a Manchu, translated is the meaning of warrior, Aobai has had the title of "the first warrior of Manchuria" since his youth, which refers to his personal martial prowess, but also said that he is good at fighting, and has made great achievements in military operations many times, such as fighting for the Ming Dynasty general Mao Wenlong stationed on Pi Dao, defeating the 130,000 troops of the Ming Dynasty's Jiliao governor Hong Chengyu, so that the Manchu Qing won the victory at the Battle of Songjin, and successfully laid the military superiority of the Manchu Qing over the Ming Dynasty.
After the Manchu Qing Dynasty entered the customs, Aobai became a close general of the Shunzhi Emperor, not only helping to suppress the peasant rebel army everywhere, but also helping him to fight against the powerful minister Dorgon at that time, so he won the trust of the Shunzhi Emperor, who once did not care about his own rest and eating, but always dressed shunzhi in the imperial palace, listening to the dispatches of the Shunzhi Emperor, showing loyalty unimaginable to ordinary people.
In the eighteenth year of Shunzhi (1661), the 24-year-old Shunzhi Emperor died suddenly, and before his death, he designated the 8-year-old Xuan Ye as the crown prince, and let Ao Bai and three other ministers assist him in handling political affairs, that is, the so-called "Gu Ming Ministers", the reason why he wanted to set up four, mainly for the purpose of dividing powers and restrictions, but Ao Bai used a very fast speed to attack or pull the other three Gu Zhi ministers or attack or co-opt, and gradually concentrated the power in his own hands.
With the concentration of power, Ao Bai's behavior gradually became more and more unscrupulous, and even ordered the three members of the imperial court, namely Hubu Shangshu Sunahai, the governor Zhu Changzuo, and the inspector Wang Denglian, to be killed, which made the young Kangxi Emperor feel unbearable, so he began to gather some teenagers, pretending to be children to play and practice wrestling, but in fact cultivating his own janissaries.
After training for a period of time, Kangxi forced these teenagers to subdue and kill the 59-year-old Aobai, although Aobai had also used to rely on martial arts to cross the battlefield when he was young, but at this time it was already a place where heroes were useless, and could only obediently obey the curse, Kangxi also began to truly pro-government, and went farther and farther on the road to "Emperor of the Ages", and "Xue Aobai" was a milestone widely praised on this road.
After Kangxi killed Aobai, how did he deal with his wife and children? Many people may think that the intention of the emperor is usually "either not to do it or to do it", so the means of treating Ao Bai's wife and children must be quite cruel, but in fact, it is not so, it is difficult for you to believe it, although Ao Bai was reprimanded, but his wife and children were not implicated in any way, and even his son Namfu still held an important position in the imperial court.
