Alexander Bolotov, a ukrainian landscape painter in the rain, was born in 1981 in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk. In 2002, he graduated from the painting department of the Donetsk Academy of Arts and found a job in illustration at a publishing house. Six years later, Alexander, eager for creative freedom, chose to leave the field of illustration and officially began his career in oil painting.
His landscape paintings in the rain, unlike other painters who paint raindrops, can make people clearly feel the feeling of rain when looking at the paintings.
