The first lady of Ukraine, Zelenska, was interviewed by reporters: After the war, she did not see her husband.
She recalls waking up in the early hours of the day of the war on Feb. 25, when she was awakened by a "bang" and didn't realize it was an explosion. But it was found that Zelenskiy had already woken up and started getting dressed.
I asked him what happened? He said grimly: The war has begun.
I then asked him: What about the children?
He replied: I will solve it. Pack up your important documents and items first.
It wasn't until a week after the war that she had the opportunity to call relatives and friends to see if they were all safe. Only then did I let go of my emotions, which was probably the first time I cried.
Zelenska said he had been worried about her husband, but at the moment he could only use the phone to say hello.
Asked how to explain the war to the children, Zelenska said there was no need to explain it to the children. They see everything in their own eyes, just like other Ukrainian children. Of course that's not what they should see, but you can't hide anything from them.
