Recently, the 2021 "One World" International Children's Art Exhibition, initiated by the ORGANIZING Committee of WE ARE THE WORLD EVENTS (FRENCH) and supported by UNESCO, was launched in the Carrouselle Hall of the Louvre in Paris, France. It is understood that after selection, Qingxi student Feng Wenjuan's work "Hope" was selected as a representative work of Chinese children's painting, and was exhibited together with more than 800 works from teenagers from nearly 20 countries such as Russia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
It is reported that children in different regions of this art exhibition show different themes. Among them, the theme of China is "One World", which expresses the hope that world peace and everyone can have a happy life. From different perspectives, the children use paintbrushes to show different understandings of the same world, and develop their thinking on the community of human destiny with outstanding artistic creations. These paintings are rooted in the cultural traditions of each country itself, with rich expression styles and childlike ideas, showing the children's rich and delicate inner world, and also conveying their feelings and thoughts about the earth and environmental protection, and the world, which is of great significance.
During the period, children and parents from the United States, Russia, France and other countries came to the scene. The young painters enthusiastically introduced their paintings to the guests on the spot. The exhibition site is full of regional characteristics of countries around the world, some with peculiar ideas, some with childlike fun, vividly showing the "same world" in the eyes of children of different skin colors and different races. The adults were also infected by the children's confident, brilliant, rushing childlike hearts, the atmosphere was harmonious and cheerful, and the Carrousel Hall of the Louvre was decorated with vitality.
Among them, Qingxi student Feng Wenjuan's work "Hope" was selected as a representative work of Chinese children's painting and successfully appeared in this art exhibition. It is understood that Feng Wenjuan is a second-year student from the Middle School of Dongguan Hyde Bilingual School, and she has insisted on learning to paint for nearly ten years. When she learned that her works were exhibited at the Louvre, she was very excited, believing that more than a month of dedicated creation had not been in vain.
Talking about the source of the work's creativity, she said: "The theme of the official requirement is 'the world under epidemic prevention', and the first thing I think of is that people can only stay at home during the severe epidemic. I also personally have a very profound feeling, in the days when the epidemic first broke out in 2020, I took online classes at home and prepared for the exam. The long-term anticipation at home made me feel very bored and eager to go out and see the outside world. This experience also made me more deeply aware of the beauty of the outside world. Feng Wenjuan said, "The girl in the painting can open the window to see the beach and the sunset, and there are high-rise buildings in the far side of the ocean, which means that in modern society, with the continuous efforts of people from all walks of life, we can one day defeat the epidemic and go out of the house." Such hope is like the setting sun staining red clouds and illuminating the world. ”
"Feng Wenjuan is a serious, positive, optimistic and creative girl, and in her body you can see a steady stream of love for artistic creation." It is understood that WE ARE THE WORLD EVENTS, as a global event supported by UNESCO, has held 3 international art exhibitions since 2018, and has done 5 touring exhibitions in 27 countries such as France, Russia, Belarus, Switzerland, etc., with tens of thousands of children from all over the world participating in the creation of works and expressing their yearning for a better future in the world to the world.
