Recently, we learned from Changan officials that UNI-K iDD will open pre-sale on January 6. The new car will maintain a high degree of consistency with the fuel version of the model, and the power will be equipped with the Blue Whale iDD plug-in hybrid system. The new NEDC has a combined fuel consumption of 0.8L/100km and a power loss of 5L/100km.

The design of the new car is not much different from the ordinary model, which means that Changan UNI-K inherits the family design of the UNI sequence. For example, the front grille, which has an official name called the borderless grille, and the hidden door handles. These designs can improve the recognition of Changan UNI-K, while also making UNI sequences easier to remember. Changan UNI-K adopts dual high-level brake lights, a total of four tail rows on both sides, and black diffusers that we are more familiar with. The LED taillights feature a through-line design to enhance the visual effect.
In terms of power, the Blue Whale iDD hybrid system equipped with the Changan UNI-K iDD model integrates a 1.5T engine codenamed "JL473ZQ6", with a maximum power of 125kW, a peak power of 85kW for the drive motor, and a fuel consumption of 0.8L/100km per 100 km.
According to the official data released by the Chongqing Auto Show, the IDD hybrid system is equipped with a 30.7kWh battery, with a pure electric endurance of up to 130km, and the Blue Whale iDD hybrid system supports 220V home charging and AC-DC dual fast charging.
The full name of the Blue Whale iDD hybrid system is intelligent Dual Drive, which represents the global intelligent oil-electric dual-drive system. The Blue Whale iDD hybrid system will cover a variety of hybrid technology solutions, including 48V (light hybrid system), HEV (hybrid), PHEV (plug-in hybrid), REEV (extended range hybrid) these oil-electric hybrid technology solutions.
