Of course, before challenging the project, it is necessary to understand Chang'an's Blue Whale iDD hybrid system.

Blue Whale iDD hybrid system is composed of four parts: Blue Whale NE1.5T hybrid special engine, Blue Whale three-clutch electric drive transmission, large-capacity PHEV battery and iDD intelligent control system, which shows the industry Changan Automobile's firm determination to transform and upgrade to an intelligent low-carbon technology travel company.

This challenge tests the dynamic response and acceleration performance of the Blue Whale iDD hybrid system at the start.

The Blue Whale iDD starts with pure electric power, and the peak torque of the motor of 330N·m responds instantaneously, providing a rapid initial acceleration, and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers is only 8.1s, which is the key to winning this challenge.

In the next "Challenge Bumpy Road" session, UNI-K iDD drives through rough roads such as cobblestone roads, broken roads, bumpy roads, etc., and challenges people to complete the maze ball challenge in the car. This challenge tests the stability of the UNI-K iDD body and the smoothness of the continuous power output.

As the high-end flagship of Changan Automobile's SUV lineup, the four-wheel independent suspension of UNI-K iDD has achieved superior vibration filtering ability of the same level under the careful tuning of engineers, and the wheel tracking is good, bringing a smooth and comfortable driving experience to the occupants of the car at all times.

In addition, the high-efficiency Blue Whale triple-clutch electric drive transmission is also indispensable, which makes the output of the two powerful and energetic power sources of oil and electricity more smooth and smooth, delicate and silky.

In the final "Conquering the Limit Slope" link, the challenger drove the UNI-K iDD to impact the 30% and 40% limit ramps of the Changan Automobile Mat River Proving Ground, and the corresponding slope angles of the ramp reached 16.5° and 21.8° respectively, and the slope was accompanied by the increase of height and slope, which tested the low torsional output performance of the power system.

Although the difficulty of the challenge increased exponentially, UNI-K iDD still passed the challenge without suspense.

The UNI-K iDD is equipped with a Blue Whale NE1.5T hybrid engine and a Blue Whale triple-clutch electric drive transmission, with a maximum transmission efficiency of 97% and a system total torque of up to 590 N·m.

In the process of vehicle climbing, the two power sources of the motor and engine of the Blue Whale iDD and the multi-gear transmission cooperate to achieve hybrid operation in full gear, ensure strong and sustained low torque output, and help users enjoy surging driving pleasure without fear of various hill challenges.
