It is understood that under the new energy subsidy policy in 2022, the subsidy for pure electric passenger cars with a cruising range of 300 (inclusive) to 400 kilometers is 0.91 million yuan; the subsidy for electric vehicles with a cruising range greater than 400 kilometers (inclusive) is 12,600 yuan. Plug-in hybrid passenger cars with a cruising range of more than 50 kilometers (including range extenders) are subsidized by 0.48 million yuan.
Affected by this news, many car companies began to officially announce price increases, including Tesla, Volkswagen, GAC Aean, Nezha Automobile and SAIC Extraordinary Automobile.
Among them, Tesla is the fastest, at the end of December, it raised the price of the rear-wheel drive version of the Model 3 and Model Y models, with an increase of 10,000 yuan and 21,000 yuan respectively, of which the price of the Model Y will be higher than 300,000 after the price increase, and the national subsidy policy cannot be enjoyed according to the standard.
In addition, gahic AION sales staff also said at the end of last year that since New Year's Day this year, the price of AION LX has increased by 4,000 yuan, and the starting price has reached 230,000. Nezha Automobile and SAIC Extraordinary Automobile have also said that they will adjust prices after January 1, 2022.
Compared with the car companies that directly announced the price increase, there are also some policy plans to "stabilize the military's heart", among which WEILAI Automobile simultaneously released the 2022 car purchase subsidy plan on the day of the release of the new policy, making it clear that the users who paid a deposit to buy ES8, ES6 and EC6 before December 31, 2021 (inclusive), and who pre-marketed on March 31, 2022, can still enjoy subsidies in accordance with the 2021 national subsidy standards, and the difference will be borne by NIO Automobile.
Xiaopeng Motors said that it will launch a "time-limited quotation policy" from January 1, 2022 to January 10, 2022, and consumers who pay a deposit at that time can enjoy the same comprehensive subsidies as in 2021.
According to media reports, preliminary statistics, from 2009 to the end of 2021, the cumulative amount of funds for new energy subsidies has exceeded 140 billion, and with the decline and eventual cancellation of subsidies, after the ebb tide, it is expected that a group of car companies will usher in a real cold winter.
