According to the Luoyang Evening News, at noon on January 1, the Henan Luoyang Municipal Government held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control, at which it was reported that on December 31, 2021, 2 positive nucleic acid test cases were found in Xin'an County, Luoyang City, and after review and expert research, it was determined that 2 were asymptomatic infected people, and through close screening and testing, 2 asymptomatic infected people and 4 initial screening positive cases were found in the follow-up. At present, 8 infected people have been transferred to the Gangqu Hospital of the First People's Hospital of Zhengzhou City for diagnosis and treatment.
The circulation of 4 asymptomatic infected and 4 positive people was announced at the same time. On the evening of December 30, Xin'an County People's Hospital routinely sent nucleic acid tests to inpatients in Zhengcun Health Center, and found that a specimen had abnormal results, and on December 31, after the Luoyang Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Xin'an County Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the results were positive and confirmed as asymptomatic infected people.
After investigation, the No. 1 asymptomatic infected person, female, 41 years old, seven groups of people in Xigou Village, Zhengcun Town, Xin'an County, has been vaccinated with 2 doses of the new crown vaccine, and has no history of traveling in the past 14 days.
Asymptomatic infected person 2: The husband of the asymptomatic infected person No. 1, male, 43 years old (living in the same place as asymptomatic infected person 1), working at the Jabil Electronics Factory in Dahua Town, Chongzhou City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, returned to Xin'an by bus from Chengdu on December 19. On December 21, the asymptomatic infected person No. 1 went to the Zhengcun Town Health Center in Xin'an County for treatment due to cervical spondylosis, and the nucleic acid test was negative on the same day. After the asymptomatic infected person No. 1 was abnormally tested, his husband was sampled and tested, and after being tested by the Luoyang Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Xin'an County Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the result was positive and he was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person. The Disease Control Department of Xin'an County immediately carried out the trajectory of 2 asymptomatic infected people, and 2 asymptomatic infected people initially identified 73 close contacts and sub-close contacts, and at the same time identified the Zhengcun Health Center, Zhengcun Community, Xigou Village, and the schools and kindergartens where their children attended as the main risk points.
The other 2 asymptomatic infected people and 4 initial screening positive patients: Nucleic acid testing was carried out on the close contacts and sub-close contacts of the asymptomatic infected people No. 1 and No. 2, of which the asymptomatic infected no. 3 (male, 68 years old, the father of the asymptomatic infected person No. 2) and the asymptomatic infected person No. 4 (female, 69 years old, the mother of the asymptomatic infected person 2) were confirmed to be asymptomatic infected people after two positive nucleic acid tests. Neighbours (female, 34 years old) and their 5-year-old daughter, another neighbour (female, 37 years old) and close contacts (male, 68 years old) of the asymptomatic infected person No. 1 initially tested positive for nucleic acid.
At present, 4 asymptomatic infected patients and 4 positive initial screening patients have been transferred to Zhengzhou designated hospital in a closed loop.
Henan Daily client previously reported that on December 31, the Luoyang Municipal Health Commission urgently dispatched more than 2,500 medical personnel from 10 hospitals such as the First Affiliated Hospital of Heke University and Luoyang Central Hospital and the 8 counties and district health commissions of Yanshi, Mengjin, Yichuan, Yiyang, Songxian, Ruyang, Luoning and Luanchuan to support the sampling of nucleic acid testing in Xin'an County.
