On January 1, the press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Luoyang City, Henan Province, reported that 4 asymptomatic infected people and 4 positive people were found in the nucleic acid test of new crown pneumonia in Xin'an County, Luoyang City, and 8 people have been transferred to Zhengzhou Port District Hospital for isolation and treatment. Asymptomatic infected person 1, female, 41 years old, seven groups of people in Xigou Village, Zhengcun Town, Xin'an County, have received 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and have no history of traveling in the past 14 days.

Asymptomatic infected person 2: The husband of asymptomatic infected person 1, male, 43 years old (living in the same place as asymptomatic infected person 1), working at Jabil Electronics Factory in Dajie Town, Chongzhou City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and returning to Xin'an by bus from Chengdu on December 19, 2021. The above 2 asymptomatic infected people were initially identified as 73 close contacts and sub-close contacts, and the Zhengcun Health Center, Zhengcun Community, Xigou Village, and the schools and kindergartens attended by their children were identified as the main risk points.

Asymptomatic infected persons 3 (male, 68 years old) and asymptomatic infected person 4 (female, 69 years old), respectively, are the father and mother of asymptomatic infected person 2. Among them, asymptomatic infected person 4 (the mother of asymptomatic infected person 2) has participated in two family and friends dinners across the city within a week. On December 19, 2021, at 10:05, I went to the Fu Di Yuan Hotel on Zhengcun Street in Zhengcun Town to participate in a family and friends dinner, and at 12:06, I returned to my home in Xigou Village, Zhengcun Town, and did not go out again. On December 24th, 13:08, take a bus (YuCL0990) from Zhengcun Town to Nanyang, pass through Lianhuo Expressway to Erguang Expressway, arrive at Qilin Villa, Wolong District, Nanyang City at 17:23, and stay at the Beautiful Bride Wedding Inn in Xiaozhai Street, Wolong District, Nanyang City at night. At noon on December 25, I attended a dinner with relatives and friends at the Old Fourth Hotel in Xiaozhai Street, Wolong District, Nanyang City, and returned by bus at 14:23, passing through the Erguang Expressway to Lianhuo Expressway, returning to my home in Xigou Village, Zhengcun Town, Xin'an County at 18:16, and did not go out again. On December 31, he tested positive for nucleic acid and was subsequently transferred to a designated medical institution.

In addition, the first screening nucleic acid test was also positive for asymptomatic infected persons in 1 of their rental neighbours (female, 34 years old) and his 5-year-old daughter, another neighbour (female, 37 years old) and close contacts (male, 68 years old).

At present, 4 asymptomatic infected patients and 4 positive initial screening patients have been transferred to Zhengzhou designated hospital in a closed loop.

On December 31, 2021, Luoyang City dispatched more than 3,000 medical personnel, 10 mobile nucleic acid testing vehicles, and 20 negative pressure ambulances to Xin'an County to carry out nucleic acid testing and sampling work for all employees. As of 10:30 a.m. on January 1, 418052 people who had completed sampling had been sent for testing, and 403,240 tests had been completed, and the test results were all negative.

5 centralized isolation points were fully launched, and 500 centralized isolation rooms were set up to ensure that "all the isolation should be achieved". As of 5:00 a.m. on January 1, the close contacts and sub-close contacts who were identified have been isolated and controlled, with a total of 190 people in centralized isolation and 2244 people in home isolation.

On January 1, the emergency command system for epidemic prevention and control in Luoyang City and County immediately turned into an emergency state. Zhengcun Township and Xigou Village will be designated as sealing and control areas, prohibiting people from entering and leaving, and implementing isolation without leaving home; other areas of Zhengcun Town and the whole area of Shisi Town are demarcated as control areas, and the movement of people is prohibited until the epidemic-related personnel are cleared.

Other counties in Xin'an County will be designated as prevention areas, and epidemic prevention and control card points will be set up at important traffic intersections and villages (communities) throughout the county, strictly controlling the flow of personnel and cutting off external transmission channels. Strengthen social control, except for the necessities of life, all kinds of crowded places are suspended from business.
