Battle of Lang Son
The Battle of Lang Son was a turning point in the skirmish of the Vietnamese self-defense counterattack, which was densely packed with rivers and mountains. At that time, the Vietnamese army also built a lot of fortress tunnels here, which made it extremely difficult for Lang Shan to pass heavy fire and became an easy to defend and difficult to attack position. In addition, the Battle of Lang Son was the last barrier in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, and when Lang Son was lost, Lang Son to Hanoi was a plain, so once our army captured Lang Son, it proved that our army had the ability to capture the Vietnamese capital.
The relationship between Lang Son and Hanoi has a deep political influence behind this place. Therefore, our army is bound to capture Lang Son, and Vietnam is also doing its best to defend Lang Son.
