Recently, Lexus China announced its first electric SUV model, the RZ 450e, in the preview. As a blockbuster product in the first year of Lexus electrification, this electric SUV is confirmed to be officially released in 2022, and its global competitors include Tesla Model Y, Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Genesis GV60 and so on.

The Lexus RZ 450e is a luxury electric SUV developed on the same e-TNGA platform as the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra. 2 motors drive the front and rear wheels, each with proper torque distribution, emphasizing exceptionally agile performance.
Its design is similar to the previously released LF-Z Electrified prototype, but the lines have been adjusted to meet the needs of actual mass production by reducing the smoothness. The Lexus RZ 450e also retains some details similar to those of the prototype, such as a solid front grille decorated with a large Lexus logo, a black front bumper, black wheel arches, taillights running through both, and a rear column that blends into the glass windows.
It is reported that the Lexus RZ450e, which will be released in 2022, is confirmed to be equipped with a Direct4 four-wheel drive system, and the power is expected to be an 80kW motor one in the front and one in the back. It is reported that the RZ450e will be equipped with a lithium battery pack of 90kWh, with a maximum cruising range of up to 600km.
