Its high-end smart electric brand Krypton will provide exclusive vehicles for the Waymo One driverless fleet and put them into commercial operation in the United States.
Geely Automobile said that the model is based on the Krypton intelligent travel platform - HAOHAN-M (SEA-M) architecture, designed and developed by the Krypton European Innovation Center (CEVT).
According to reports, different from the traditional model focusing on the driver's design ideas, the model adopts the design concept of the passenger as the core, pays more attention to passenger preferences, and highlights the comfort and convenience of the ride experience.
In terms of appearance, the model has the characteristics of low ground clearance, flat floor shape, etc., and the B-pillar design is eliminated. At the same time, the model is oriented to unmanned driving application scenarios, adopting a more flexible cockpit design, which can support two schemes with and no driver control mechanism, as well as a variety of seat layouts.
