Ten days to talk| encounter art in the old factory building

Art is the unique language of a city. Nowadays, in Shanghai, the artistic atmosphere is getting stronger and stronger, and weekend exhibitions have become a phenomenon-level leisure method. Whether it is a classic museum tour or a trendy art museum trip, it enriches our lives and makes us feel the nourishment of art.

Shanghai has a long industrial history and splendid industrial civilization, with the change of the times, those factories that once played an important economic role in history have now changed their appearance and have transformed into leisure venues with new functions, such as the Ming Contemporary Art Museum and the Encounter Museum in Jing'an District. I love wandering through these old buildings, discovering memories that are buried deep in time, and encountering a time when art and beauty are intertwined.

Because of the exhibition "No Power Outage", I walked into the Ming Contemporary Art Museum. This venue is transformed from the work workshop of Shanghai Paper Machinery Factory, which was once known as the "Garden Factory" in the last century. The exterior wall of the art museum retains the retro design style of the original paper mill brick red, and the cast iron furnace on the square is transformed into a sculpture that witnesses the industrial years of the old factory. Elements of old factories such as red brick facades, cement staircases, and mottled rust react wonderfully to avant-garde art, and the tough industrial style adds more interest to the art exhibition.

At the entrance of the museum, we can also see the remaining elevators, and the rough and simple style makes people feel very intimate. When we enter the art museum, we can find traces of old factories such as cement walls and steel frame structures everywhere. The empty hall can not only serve as a space for exhibitions, but also sometimes host performances and lectures. The exhibition seeks breakthroughs with novel ideas, and the mix and matching of fresh elements makes the whole space come to life. Huge art installations and strong industrial style have attracted many Shanghai fashion people to come to visit. The immersive visit not only allowed us to absorb the essence of art, but also gave the old factory building a new life and rejuvenated vitality.

Not far from the Ming Museum of Contemporary Art, there is another treasure venue, that is, the Encounter Museum Shanghai Jing'an Museum. The venue of the encounter museum is the former site of the former Shanghai Metallurgical Mining Machinery Factory, which was also the site of the Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum. When you approach it, you can still see the slogan "Prevention first, safety first" at the intersection.

The former Minsheng Art Museum has left me with unforgettable memories. I remember that the walls at the entrance were covered with posters of previous exhibitions, and the posters with rich design seemed to be a time and space tunnel, taking me into a magical journey. There used to be an exquisite "Minsheng Art Documentation Center" here, which contained many treasure books that I loved. Here, I found a lot of precious art tomes and albums, after visiting, you can quietly flip through the albums and carry out the art to the end.

Today, the Meet Museum will take over the baton here, continuing to bring visitors the master series and top IP series exhibitions, presenting the authentic art of classics and diverse values. As far as the venue is concerned, this artistic space is a very filming location. In the middle of the high, empty, well-lit hall, the black double staircase contrasts with the white plain walls. For the little sister who likes to take pictures, here can not only be beautiful and beautiful, but also meet art and meet beauty.

When we walk through the old factories that carry the years again, we can not only appreciate the traces left by time, but also feel the sparks generated by the collision of art and architecture, thus generating a renewed understanding of the aesthetics of life. The rich content of the exhibition often makes us forget the time, and the day's visit makes people feel extremely satisfied. At sunset, the afterglow of the sunset pours on the red bricks of the old factory building, adding a bit of romantic nostalgia, as if pressing the switch of the time machine, let people instantly travel back to the steel age of fire and splattering and rumbling.
