During the day, he went from platoon commander, staff officer, battalion commander, deputy regimental commander, chief of staff, and regimental commander to a smooth sailing in the Nationalist army system, and had been promoted to chief of staff of the 83rd Division of the 93rd Army of the Nationalist Army before the outbreak of the War of Resistance.
In March 1938, he secretly went to Yan'an during the day to participate in the "Anti-Japanese War", during which he was warmly received by the main leaders of our party, which made him feel the fine style of the Eighth Route Army, and the sincerity and confidence of our party in uniting in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression made him yearn for Yan'an.

The chairman first shook his head, then smiled and said to him: "Everywhere is anti-Japanese." If you don't join the Eighth Route Army, you may have contributed much more than you did in the Eighth Route Army. There are many opportunities for cooperation in the future. During the day, he had to give up, but before he went back, he still agreed with Luo Ruiqing, the education chief of the "Kang Da", that no matter what happened in the future, the two armies would strengthen contact and cooperation.
In 1939, during the day, he was promoted to the post of chief of staff and deputy commander of the 93rd Army. After joining the Eighth Route Army during the day, he successively served as the chief of staff of the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army, the deputy director of the High Staff Office, the chief of staff of the Northeast Democratic Coalition Army, the director of the education department, the deputy commander of the supplementary training division, the chief of staff of the 12th Column, and the deputy commander of the 60th Army. He was awarded the rank of Major General in 1957. He died on November 18, 1973, at the age of 67.
