Xu Shiyou's first wife, who was arranged for him by the family, was named Zhu Ximing, 4 years older than Xu Shiyou, and was a peasant woman in a neighboring village.
Although the two people were arranged marriages, they were very affectionate, but later, due to the fall of the Eyu-Anhui Soviet District, Xu Shiyou had to accompany the Red Army on a western expedition and leave his hometown, and after the Kuomintang reactionaries occupied the Soviet area, they frantically retaliated against the red army family, and Zhu Ximing had to choose to remarry.
After Xu Shiyou came to Dazhou, Sichuan with the Red Fourth Front, he still missed his wife who did not know whether he was alive or dead, and often borrowed wine to dispel his sorrows, and after the old comrade-in-arms Wang Jian'an saw it, he decided to introduce another wife to Xu Shiyou.
At first, Xu Shiyou resolutely disagreed, saying: "I have a wife at home, how can I do this?" ”

During the Long March period, Xu Shiyou served as the "commander of the cavalry column" for a period of time, often bringing back many cattle and sheep from the enemy's occupied areas, these cattle and sheep were often slaughtered, often leaving a field of wool, no one to clean up, Lei Mingzhen saw it, he picked it up one by one, combed it and spun it into wool, and then knitted it into a sweater and gave it to Xu Shiyou.
This was the first time in Xu Shiyou's life that he had worn such warm and considerate clothes, and he felt unprecedented happiness, and his heart was also very grateful to Lei Mingzhen.
After the Red Fourth Front arrived in northern Shaanxi, under the mediation of everyone, Xu Shiyou and Lei Mingzhen were officially married.
However, due to Zhang Guotao's rebellion, Xu Shiyou and some cadres of the Red Fourth Front were also implicated, and Xu Shiyou, who had a fiery and stubborn personality, openly "confronted the cadres" and wanted to return to Sichuan with some troops to continue to fight guerrillas. Fortunately, Wang Jian'an had a high consciousness and reported this matter to his superiors in time, and Xu Shiyou did not succeed, but he was also imprisoned in a prison cell.
Xu Shiyou thought that he was dead, but his heart was still full of thoughts and reluctance for his beloved wife, so he begged the guards to bring a letter to Lei Mingzhen, hoping that she would come and reunite again. However, after the person who brought the letter returned, he only brought back a letter and a package, and did not see Lei Mingzhen's figure.
Xu Shiyou opened the letter and looked at it, and it was like falling into an ice cave!
It turned out that this was a divorce agreement written by Lei Mingzhen, in which Lei Mingzhen wrote: "Xu Shiyou: I hate you!" I will never love a counter-revolutionary! At that time, Lei Mingzhen wrote that letter in fact, he was forced to be helpless, if Xu Shiyou really ran away, then he was a traitor to the revolution, and it was also worth affirming that he had dissolved his husband and wife relationship with him, but now that Xu Shiyou was all right, Lei Mingzhen was also surprised, happy and worried in his heart.
"Surprised and delighted" is easy to understand, what does "worry" mean? Because Lei Mingzhen knows very well that Xu Shiyou is a man with a strong personality, he can't rub a grain of sand in his eyes, he knows that he is divorced from him, and he must hate himself in his heart!
Sure enough, xu Shiyou heard that Lei Mingzhen wanted to reunite with himself, and he immediately became angry and flatly refused, and even did not see her.
A few years passed, and in 1939, Xu Shiyou was transferred to Chen Geng's 386 Brigade as a deputy brigade commander, Xu Shiyou felt that he could finally get rid of Lei Mingzhen's entanglement, and he was very happy in his heart and gladly went to his post.

Tian Pu's original name was Tian Minglan, born in 1924 in Laiyang, Shandong, because of his poor family, he also served as a child bride, in 1939, Tian Pu ran out of his home and joined the Eighth Route Army.
In 1943, under the mediation of Wu Kehua, deputy commander of the Jiaodong Military Region, Tian Pu and Xu Shiyou were married, when Xu Shiyou was 38 years old and Tian Pu was only 19 years old.
After the two got married, they walked hand in hand for 42 years, and after Xu Shiyou died in 1985, Tian Pu lived alone until 2017, at the age of 93.
