Previously, BYD Han DM-i completed the declaration work, compared with the CURRENT DM model on sale, the new car was replaced by the same 1.5T plug-in hybrid system of Tang DM-i. Recently, the online car market obtained a set of Han DM-i road test spy photos. The main changes in the appearance of the new car are concentrated in the rear of the car, and the structure within its light group has been adjusted, officially calling it a "Chinese knot", which visually has some Jaguar model feeling. In terms of power, the 1.5T plug-in hybrid system used in the new car has a minimum comprehensive fuel consumption of 0.8L/100km, which is 43% lower than the current DM model (1.4L/100km). In terms of price, Han DM-i will focus on the 180,000-22 million yuan car market.

In terms of appearance, with reference to the Han DM-i declaration picture, it is consistent with the current model, the front face uses a dot matrix mid-net design, and the side C pillar also retains the iconic silver decorative structure of the machine. The changes in the rear of the car are mainly concentrated on the light group, the light belt structure in the lamp cavity is interlaced with each other, forming a visual sense of "Chinese knot", in addition to the in-car button signal font insists on using Chinese, BYD once again integrates Chinese elements into the model.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of Han DM-i are 4960×1910×1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm, which is consistent with the current model. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine + electric motor, and the maximum power of the engine is 102kW. At present, Han mainly focuses on the medium and large car market of 210,000-280,000 yuan, and competes with Xiaopeng P7 and Tesla Model 3, and has achieved good sales performance. The launch of Han DM-i will further lower the purchase threshold of the car series and is expected to become one of the new incremental sources of the brand.
