Huawei's 5G phones are still strong
But in China's 5G mobile phone market, Apple's performance is still slightly inferior. According to the 5G mobile phone brand market share ranking in the third quarter of the 2021 China mobile phone market released by Daily Interactive Big Data, Huawei is still the leader in China's 5G mobile phone market, with a market share of 30.7%.
In contrast, Apple's two 5G flagship iPhone 12 series and iPhone 13 series, although very popular, only won 12.5% of China's 5G mobile phone market, less than half of Huawei's market share.
It is worth mentioning that since the launch of the Mate40 series and the Huawei MateX2 folding screen, Huawei has not released 5G mobile phones, such as Huawei P50, Nova9 series do not support 5G networks, and now even the Huawei Mate40 series is also promoting the 4G version, in other words, the current Huawei has no 5G incremental users.
So, why can Huawei win the first place in China's 5G mobile phone market? In my opinion, there are two main reasons:
On the one hand, in the early days of the 5G era, Huawei's 5G mobile phones accumulated obvious advantages.
As one of the first manufacturers to launch 5G mobile phones, Huawei has accumulated rich experience, especially when Huawei launched the Mate40 series, friends are still using the second generation of 5G communication technology, and Huawei has taken the lead in using the third generation.
Coupled with Huawei's continuous polishing of high-end mobile phone products, Huawei P40, Mate30 and Mate40 series are the most popular flagships in the high-end 5G mobile phone market.
In the top 20 list of the distribution of major 5G mobile phone models in the third quarter released by Daily Interactive, Huawei's Nova7 5G ranked in the top three.
On the other hand, the hongmeng system is deeply bound. According to the author's understanding, there are currently 120 pairs of new and old Huawei and Honor models that have completed the upgrade of the Hongmeng system, including the Mate9 series, P9 series and other old models are in the upgrade ranks.
As a domestic self-developed operating system, Hongmeng has attracted many new and old Huawei users to upgrade and try Hongmeng, which to a certain extent has delayed the frequency of replacement of Huawei 5G users.
Not only that, Huawei has also launched a second-hand mobile phone authentication platform, where users can easily choose the second-hand Huawei 5G flagship to further alleviate the decline in Huawei's 5G mobile phone market.
In fact, in order to keep the stock of users, Huawei has launched a variety of maintenance services, including upgrading memory, replacing batteries, replacing screens, etc. After maintenance, the old models can fight for several more years.
From the above point of view, Huawei's 5G mobile phone can win the first place in the domestic 5G mobile phone market, in the author's opinion, this is the result of Huawei's efforts and pollen strong support.
Huawei is difficult to sustain for a long time
It should be understood that the current Huawei 5G chip problem has not been solved, according to the breaking news, the upcoming release of a new generation of Huawei folding screen, will not support 5G networks.
Therefore, the author believes that it is difficult for Huawei to maintain the position of hegemony in the domestic 5G market next, because the next mobile phone chips are mainly 4G mobile phones, and the increase in 5G users will be very limited, and it is difficult to compete head-on with Xiaomi, OV, and Apple.

In general, Huawei continues to dominate the domestic 5G mobile phone market, which shows from the side that its 5G products are excellent enough, otherwise it will not be recognized by many consumers.
Nowadays, because of the lack of core, Huawei 5G mobile phones have been difficult to buy, it is indeed a pity, if users like Huawei 5G mobile phones, you can choose to buy from Huawei second-hand mall, and Huawei will also provide after-sales service to ensure the user's experience.
