I remember when I first read to Todd S. Todd Parr's picture book is instantly attracted by his childlike style, the thick black lines are like children's brushstrokes, plus filled with saturated, bright colors, it is easy to resonate with young children.
Each of his picture books, the theme is very clear, whether it is to discuss the mood or the world, the text is constantly repeated, quite easy to understand, from the humorous illustrations, bringing in many topics that are actually relatively serious to discuss, seemingly understated, but warm and positive, so that readers large and small can feel inspired and encouraged.
The first picture book I knew about Todd was It's Okay to Be Different, and it was meant to say, "What does it have to do with being different?" Every picture in the book will make the reader smile.
