According to the website of the Shaanxi Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24:00 on December 19, 24 new local confirmed cases (21 cases in Xi'an, 2 cases in Yan'an, 1 case in Xianyang) and 1 case of local asymptomatic infection (Xi'an) were newly reported. Since 9 December, the province has reported a cumulative total of 53 locally confirmed cases (49 in Xi'an City, 3 cases in Yan'an City, and 1 case in Xianyang City), and 8 cases of asymptomatic infection (all in Xi'an City).

At 0-24:00 on December 19, 1 new confirmed case imported from abroad, 1 case of asymptomatic infection were newly reported, 1 case of confirmed case was cured and discharged from hospital, and 2 cases of asymptomatic infected person were released from isolation.

Locally confirmed case 1, male, 23 years old, currently residing in Yanta District, Xi'an City, is a close contact of local confirmed case 1 released on 17 December. On December 17, he was placed under centralized isolation for medical observation, and on December 19, the nucleic acid test result was positive, and he was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new crown pneumonia (mild) by a municipal expert group.

The local asymptomatic infected person, female, 38 years old, currently residing in Beilin District, Xi'an City, is a close contact of the local confirmed case 1 released on December 18. On December 15, he was placed under centralized isolation for medical observation. On December 19, the nucleic acid test result was positive, and he was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person with new crown pneumonia by the municipal expert group.

The above confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected people have been transferred to designated medical institutions for isolation treatment and medical observation, and the specific activity trajectory has been released by Xi'an City, Xianyang City and Yan'an City.

Imported confirmed cases, male, 40 years old, foreigner, passenger of Flight PK854 from Islamabad to Beijing on 19 December. After the flight arrived at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, the first entry point, all the personnel of the flight implemented closed-loop management measures such as customs quarantine, nucleic acid testing, and point-to-point transfer, and there was no self-activity trajectory in Shaanxi Province. Imported asymptomatic infected person, female, 53 years old, Liaoning nationality, was a passenger of Flight LJ171 from Jeju to Xi'an on December 18. After the flight arrived at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, all the personnel of the flight implemented closed-loop management measures such as customs quarantine, nucleic acid testing, and point-to-point transfer, and there was no self-activity trajectory in Shaanxi Province. The nucleic acid test result is positive, and the asymptomatic infected person with new crown pneumonia is diagnosed by the municipal expert group, and is currently isolated for medical observation in a designated medical institution.

As of 24:00 on December 19, a total of 316 locally confirmed cases (54 cases in hospital, 259 cases discharged from hospital, and 3 deaths) were reported, and 8 asymptomatic infected people were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on December 19, a total of 462 confirmed cases imported from abroad were reported, 447 cases were discharged from hospital, and 15 cases were hospitalized. A total of 446 cases of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad have been reported, 52 cases have been converted into confirmed cases, 369 cases have been released from medical observation, and 25 asymptomatic infected people are still under medical observation.
