Painter Wang Zhijian
Wang Zhijian, a famous painter from Hunan Province, is currently a national first-class artist, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a director of the China Gongbi Painting Society, a director of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association, the director of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association's Gongbi Painting Art Committee, the executive vice president of the Hunan Provincial Gongbi Painting Society, the vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Flower and Bird Painters Association, a member of the Hunan Provincial Writers Association, the vice chairman of the Xiangtan Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the honorary chairman of the Xiangtan Artists Association, and the former director of the Qi Baishi Memorial Hall.
Born in October 1958 in Xiangxiang, he has loved literature and art since childhood, and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Hunan Normal University majoring in Chinese painting. Engaged in the creation of Chinese painting for more than 30 years, the art advocates "work into the will". The works have a personal style and humanistic spirit, and are quite influential in the country, and are known as the national calligraphy and painting masters. His works have won gold and silver awards from authoritative institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, the China Artists Association, and the Hunan Provincial Artists Association. His masterpiece "Warm Sun" won the silver medal of the 8th "Stars Award" of the Ministry of Culture. "Thoughts" won the second prize of the first national flower and bird painting exhibition of the China Artists Association.
