A total of more than 1,700 teachers and students participated in the Games, which were divided into three groups: high school, junior high school and primary school, and competed in 2 major events and 9 small sports in ice and snow sports. This is a municipal winter sports comprehensive event with the largest participation scale, the largest number of project settings, the longest schedule and the widest distribution of venues for primary and secondary school students in Beijing.

Kang Jiahui, the third class of the Changping Affiliated School of Beijing Normal University: When I go to the ice, I feel that I have found a world of my own, I can skate freely, and I will have a feeling of flying, and I am very happy and happy.

Up to now, there are 200 special schools for ice and snow sports in Beijing and 200 Olympic education demonstration schools, and the number of primary and secondary school students on ice and snow has reached 2.1 million.
