In 2016, Ren Ziwei won the world junior short track speed skating championships with 90 points in all-around points. In the subsequent 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, his results were slightly regrettable, although he and his teammates won the silver medal in the men's 5000 meters relay, but in the personal event, Ren Ziwei did not win a medal. It also inspired him to strengthen his dreams even more.
In Liu Yeran's view, if you want to become a champion, you not only need hard training, but also the persistence of never accepting defeat. After 4 years of hard training and active preparation, at this year's Beijing Winter Olympics, Ren Ziwei won two gold medals in the short track speed skating men's 2000 meters mixed relay and the men's 1000 meters, realizing his dream of winning the Winter Olympics. For him, this will also be a new starting point.
