Recently, the Tianjin Binhai New Area Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of "zero-carbon factories" (the first batch) in Binhai New Area in 2024, and 4 enterprises in the Economic Development Zone were "on the list", and the number of enterprises on the list accounted for nearly 40% of the total number of enterprises in the new area. The award of "Near-zero Carbon Factory" and "Low-carbon Factory" this time is an affirmation of the company's adherence to green, low-carbon, innovative development, and will help the company further improve the level of green manufacturing management and achieve green and sustainable development.

Up to now, the enterprises in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone have been rated as 30 national green factories, 12 green supply chain management enterprises, 74 Tianjin municipal green factories, 4 green supply chain management enterprises, 2 near-zero carbon factories and 2 low-carbon factories in Binhai New Area.
For a long time, Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone has been taking the creation of green manufacturing benchmarking enterprises as the starting point, conscientiously implementing the "double carbon" strategy, actively practicing the concept of green development, accelerating the establishment and improvement of the "zero-carbon factory" cultivation system through technological transformation and industrial green upgrading, encouraging and guiding upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to achieve energy conservation and carbon reduction, green transformation and green innovation, and the vigorous development of new quality productivity and the continuous enhancement of enterprise competitiveness.
In the next step, Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone will create a number of zero-carbon emission demonstration factories, summarize the pilot experience that can be promoted and replicated, give full play to the demonstration role of "zero-carbon factories" in point to area, accelerate the formation of new momentum for green and low-carbon development, promote the development of industries to low-carbon, provide strong support for industrial "double carbon" work, and help the Economic and Technological Development Zone achieve green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
